Show your team spirit and keep warm on game day with this fun completely customizable hat. This hat works up quickly and easily with super bulky yarn on large needles.

This pattern includes written instructions in (US standard knitting terms). This pattern is beginner level. Requires basic knowledge of knitting in the round and changing colors. Pattern includes instructions for 2 sizes: Adult small and Medium/larges

Materials needed for this project:

Size US15 (10mm ) 16” circular needles (use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed below—every knitter’s gauge is unique!)
10mm double pointed needles (optional)

3 skeins Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick 1 accent color and 1 of each school color

Tapestry needle to weave in ends

Scissors

Gauge : 9 stitch = 4” stockinette stitch

Size: Adult Small (Adult Medium-Large)

Abbreviations (US) & Skills

k -knit
p – purl
st – stitch
sts – stitches

Finished size: circumference approximately 18" (22")
height without pom-pom approximately 8-9" with brim turned up
