I created this hat because my husband noticed how warm my hats were compared to the inexpensive hunter hats he'd bought in the store. This hat is a simple and easy design that can be made in any size. As an experience hunter my husband was key in choosing the color of the yarn, so that it is an orange that is bright and gives increased visibility. In the images above I've tried to show how the hat is visible even from a distance and in the shadows.
